ARABIC SPKG TPA DEVELOPMENT & CONTRACTING MGR, GCC/MIDDLE EAST, £60-70K

Job Title: Arabic speaking TPA Development and Contracting Manager
Skills: Fluent Arabic, extensive experience in
Salary: £60-70k
Location: GCC, Middle East - TBC

Your Job Purpose:

Responsible for developing, improving and maintaining the network of providers for the GCC and Middle East.
Research and determine the relevant approach for the market and deliver recommended approach through to contract compliance

Your Accountabilities & Activities:

Implement, build and maintain the purchasing strategy for the region.
Research the availability and quality of provision in target markets and recommend the appropriate purchasing and claims spend management approach.
Negotiate and oversee negotiations of contracts with providers and / or target partners.
Build appropriate networks of providers offering comprehensive ranges of services.
Act as the Purchasing lead to ensure successful implementation
Act as point of referral for escalated queries.
Develop contract evaluation process at renewal point.
Support the definition and execution of strategies to extend provider coverage.
Obtain feedback and recommendations to improve the level of service to our customers.
Form effective working relationships with other Purchasing activities
Regional and international travel required.

Dimensions:

The Global Purchasing Claims spend was c£250m for 2009 and you will have responsibility for countries with a spend range from £1m to £50m.

Your Qualifications, Training & Experience:

Educated to degree level or a suitable equivalent.
A degree in International Negotiation/Procurement/Law/International Business/Health Management would be an advantage.
Experience and strong commercial knowledge of the international medical industry.
Fluent Arabic and English, both written and verbal.
Strong knowledge of the local hospital industry and.
Excellent commercial negotiation skills
Ability to deliver projects on time, budget and within agreed quality.
Proven track record of achieving targets with a consistent high level of quality.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment.
Ability to influence business areas without having direct management responsibility.
